Kaiser of the Austrian Empire, Franz I (1804–1835)
A ruler or emperor. It wasn't until the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved in 1806 that the House of Habsburg retained the title of kaiser, ruled by Kaiser of the Austrian Empire, Franz (pictured above). It was in 1871 when the German Empire adopted the title for Wilhelm I.
