Knitting Needles Guerrilla
Pictured: Thandi Modise. "I'm a guerrilla because I'm a mother...I'm very pleased my children will never turn around to me and ask, 'Why did you do nothing?"
An undercover soldier disguised as a sweet innocent knitting mom, to scout potential military targets. The Kunoichi of South Africa. Thandi Modise held this title. She was termed this because while she was operating underground as an MK cadre reconnoitering potential military targets she tried to look as ordinary as possible and carried a handbag from which a pair of knitting needles protruded.
A heroic woman of great stature, courage and strength. She exudes fearlessness. Dating back to the times of antiquity, if a woman surpassed the expectations of her gender she was honored with the title and word.
2.) A loud, overbearing woman.

This inductee had to be descended from Italian parents, although this tradition has not always been strictly observed;(Junior Gotti, Cadillac Frank) he also must have been involved in a murder or killing (making your bones) contracted to him by a ranking Mafioso.
When introducing one made man to another, the phrase “a friend of ours” is used indicating that he is a member and business can be discussed openly with him; however when introducing an associate with whom business should not be mentioned, the phrase “a friend of mine” is used. Made men are the only ones who can rise through the ranks of Cosa Nostra, from soldier, to Captain (or Caporegime (Capo) as it is sometimes called), to Consigliere, Underboss, and finally Boss.
