A "wand-bearer", a witch, seer, fortune-teller, wise woman, the Norse equivalent of the Shaman. Seidh practitioners were called Volva.
1960s Japanese. Kyōiku mamas (教育ママ) believes in educating and empowering her offspring to be the best additions to society. In Japanese society she is expected to be the good wife and a wise mother. Once her children are of adult age, she then becomes the Tenuki okusan (手抜き奥さん).
