A prophet, oracle or teller of fortune. She's gifted with the powers of the ancient world with devine influences. There are various Sibyls throughout world based on geographical region from Persian, Cimmerian, Erythraean, Cumaea to Hellespontine Sibyls. "The Sibyl, with frenzied mouth uttering things not to be laughed at, unadorned and unperfumed, yet reaches to a thousand years with her voice by aid of the god", - Heraclitus 2.) Somehow such a beautiful name is now synonymous with the world of Crazy and mulitple personalities based on the 1976 film of the same title starring Academy Award winner, Sally Margaret Field.
